Hi Guys, in this post we are gonna discuss about the Ramon Magsaysay Award also called 'Nobel Prize of Asia '. As we all know that international prizes are of much importance in any competitive examination so here we are gonna discuss about the award and some facts which would help you in the exams. The prize was started in 1958 and it is given in the memory of Ramon Magsaysay, the third president of Philippines, by the Philippines government. The prize was established in April 1957 by the trustees of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund which is based in New York City with the co-operation of the Philippine government. The Ramon Magsaysay Award is Asia's premier prize and highest honor. The trustees of the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation annually selects the awardees.
