Utopia Review: Amazon's Conspiracy Thriller about a Pandemic

  Surprisingly entertaining and too violent for its own good, Utopia , an Amazon series created by the same writer of the novel Gone Girl (which was also converted into a great movie),  is a spookily timely, wild and elaborate conspiracy theory thriller set in the dark, dystopic, pandemic-hit world. A contagious virus with no vaccine, and big pharma companies scrambling to make millions. No these are not headlines from a newspaper. These are the plot arcs from Amazon Prime Video’s latest show Utopia . The first thing you see in Utopia on prime video is a disclaimer claiming that this is a work of fiction and not based on true or current events. This would make you think that the show took inspiration from the current pandemic but let me inform you  that this show is a remake of a 2013 British television show and even the shooting of this show was completed well before the pandemic hit. Open Letter to Maeve

A little background, Maeve is one of my favorite character on the Netflix show SexEducation and I wrote this while waiting for 12 o'clock to wish one of my friend Happy Birthday. Dear Maeve, It's almost midnight and I'm waiting for one of my friend to join her virtual birthday celebration. Ya, don't ask, it's a 2020 thing now. Story of My Solo Trip to Lansdowne

A Solo trip was one of the things that I had wanted to do for a long time, I wanted to feel th quiet of nature and just sit in front of a great view surrounded by nature in solitude and just enjoy t wind on my face, enjoy the natural voices and forget all the shit that has been going on in my life. But there were always some distractions or fears that forced me to procrastinate my plans.  So one fine day at 3 am in the morning (don’t ask me why I was awake till 3 am that’s another story 😜) I don’t know what came on to me and I said to myself “ Khud ko ch*tiya banana band kar aur abhi ticket book kr wrna kbhi nhi japayega, hmesha tere bahane chlte rhege ”.
